WASHINGTON, D.C. – New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani is scheduled to meet with President Trump at the White House today. A person with knowledge of the meeting indicated that housing is expected to be among the topics discussed, CNN reported.
President Trump recently referred to Mamdani during his State of the Union address, describing him as “the new communist mayor of New York City,” yet also admitted a liking for him.
This will be their second meeting, as the two first met in November shortly after Mamdani was elected.
