New rum, tapas bar opens in downtown Spokane from owners of Cease & Desist

SPOKANE, Wash. — The people behind one of the most popular bars in Spokane have opened a new spot around the corner in downtown.

Plunder is a new rum and tapas bar that’s bringing new Central and South American flavors to the Inland Northwest.

Owner Bryan Harkey says he wanted to bring something new to the area.

“I love whiskey, but rum is fun because it’s so funky,” Harkey said. “You have the Caribbean and South America, and all the rums taste different.”

In addition to craft cocktails, Plunder also has shareable bites like wings and ceviche.

Plunder is open at 108 N. Washington Street between Main and Riverside avenues.

The bar is open daily at 4 p.m. and you can find out more information at PlunderSpokane.com. You can also follow Plunder on Facebook and Instagram.
