COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho – A vibrant new mural is now gracing the corner of 3rd Street and Sherman Avenue. The mural is located outside the Tomlinson Sotheby’s International Realty office, after the business donated their wall for the project.
Gabrielle Lewis, the artist behind the creation, expressed her desire to involve local businesses and the community in the mural’s development.
“The project itself is community funded,” Lewis said. “There have been a lot of ways to try and get the community involved with this project.”
The mural draws inspiration from the nature and wildlife that community members encounter on local trails.
The Coeur d’Alene Arts Commission has planned a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the mural next Friday at 5 p.m.
