CHELAN COUNTY, Wash. – The Chelan County Sheriff’s Office found further DNA evidence linking Travis Decker to the murder of his three daughters, Paityn, Evelyn and Olivia Decker. The DNA evidence links Decker and no other DNA profiles to the crime.

At the scene of the crime, the Washington State Patrol Crime Response Team collected the materials used to kill the three girls by suffocation. Then Chelan County Sheriff’s Detectives submitted the evidence to the Washington State Crime Lab for DNA analysis.

On August 6, the Crime Lab reported that DNA profiles matching Decker were found on the materials. No other DNA profiles were found on the materials.

This analysis gives extra evidence suggesting that Decker is the only suspect in the murder of his three daughters, wrote the Chelan County Sheriff’s Office.

This evidence comes after from blood samples at the scene also link Decker, and only Decker, to the crime.

Travis Decker is still at large, despite extensive efforts from law enforcement to find him.

At the end of July, Chelan County Sheriff Mike Morrison said that he felt “” about the search effort.

He said that his team was focusing on the Icicle Creek area at the time, but acknowledged speculation that Decker might be dead or might be receiving assistance. If someone was giving Decker assistance, he urged them to “do the right thing, turn him in.”

A reward of $20,000 has been offered by the U.S. Marshals Service for information leading to Decker’s arrest.

Decker is considered armed and dangerous. If you see him, the Chelan County Sheriff’s Office said to call 911 immediately and not to contact or approach him.
