The first moon flyby images captured by NASA’s Artemis II astronauts during their historic test flight reveal regions rarely seen by humans, including a solar eclipse from space.
Released Tuesday, the photos were taken April 6 during the mission’s seven-hour pass over the lunar far side, marking humanity’s return to the moon’s vicinity and providing a new trove of scientific data.
