Narcotics bust in Bridgeport leads to $1.3 million drug seizure

BRIDGEPORT, Wash. – A significant multi-agency narcotics bust, led by the King County Sheriff’s Office, has resulted in the seizure of narcotics valued at approximately $1.3 million.

According to an official document from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, the operation, named “Operation Eastbound and Down,” took place on Monday, November 10, 2025. The investigation, which spanned several months, targeted a regional supplier based in Bridgeport responsible for receiving over 100 pounds of narcotics every few weeks.

Authorities executed search warrants in Bridgeport, Lynnwood and Kirkland, leading to the seizure of 70.55 pounds of methamphetamine, 16 pounds of fentanyl powder, 6.83 pounds of heroin and 1.67 pounds of cocaine. Additionally, one handgun, a vehicle used in drug distribution and $83,652 in drug proceeds were confiscated.

Four arrests were made during the operation. The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office expressed gratitude to the King County Sheriff’s Office for its leadership and coordination.

The operation highlights the ongoing efforts of local law enforcement to combat drug distribution across King, Pierce and Snohomish counties.
