
MEAD, Wash. – Skiers and snowboarders have reason to celebrate as Mount Spokane Ski and Snowboarding Park prepares to open its slopes this weekend.
The announcement was made on Friday that teams are working through the night to ensure the slopes are ready for opening day Saturday.
The park plans to operate from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday. Additionally, on Sunday and Monday, the slopes will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. as long as conditions allow it.
For those not ready to mount a board or skis, snow tubing is also available.
