SPOKANE, Wash. – A motorcyclist has life-threatening injuries after crashing into a tree Wednesday afternoon in Spokane.
According to the Spokane Police Department (SPD), officers responded around 12:30 p.m. to the area of Assembly Street and Northwest Boulevard following a report of a motorcycle crash.
The rider was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries, police said.
The area around the crash scene is closed as the investigation continues. Preliminary information indicates that speed was a factor and the motorcycle lost control before striking a tree.
