OKANOGAN COUNTY, Wash. – A collision on State Route 153, 5 miles northwest of Pateros, claimed the life of a motorcyclist on Saturday morning.
The Washington State Patrol reported that the motorcyclist was riding a Triumph Bonneville America northbound around 10:25 a.m. when they failed to navigate a curve, crossing the center line.
The motorcyclist collided with a Honda Accord traveling in the opposite direction. Both vehicles ended up blocking the roadway after the crash.
Officials stated the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and passenger of the Honda were not injured.
