MOSES LAKE, Wash. – A community forum will be held Tuesday to discuss the upcoming closure of the homeless sleep shelter in Moses Lake. The city council is set to decide on the shelter’s closure this month.
Residents are encouraged to attend the forum at City Hall at 6:30 p.m. to share ideas on addressing homelessness after the 38-bed sleep center closes. Participants will be divided into groups to discuss with city officials the steps involved in closing the shelter and explore future solutions for homelessness in Moses Lake.
