MOSCOW, Idaho — The Moscow Police Department is urging residents not to leave children or pets unattended in vehicles as summer temperatures continue to rise.
Officers said even a few minutes inside a parked car can be dangerous and potentially deadly for both children and animals.
Police are reminding the public to stay alert during the summer months and to check their vehicles before locking and leaving them.
