MOSCOW, Idaho – The city of Moscow is set to receive a substantial boost for local recreation with a federal grant dedicated to improving one of its cherished parks.
The National Park Service awarded Moscow more than $580,000 through a Land and Water Conservation Fund grant. This funding supports the development of Lola Clyde Park, located off North Polk Extension.
Once matched locally, the project will exceed $1 million in total funding. Construction is scheduled to begin in 2027, and the park will see the addition of new walking paths, lighting, accessible ramps and more.
This development is expected to enhance the park’s usability and accessibility, providing a better recreational space for the community.
