
SPOKANE, Wash. – The Monroe Street Bridge has reopened after being temporarily closed Thursday evening due to what appeared to be a water rescue effort.
The Spokane Fire Department led the operation, dispatching approximately 20 units to the scene around 6:17 p.m. The northbound and southbound traffic lanes on the bridge were closed down.
Details about the water rescue remain limited at this time.
