The missing person, Sarena Harrison, was found dead yesterday around 4:03 p.m., according to the Shoshone County Sheriff’s office.
She was found on a forest service road along Coeur d’Alene River Road inside of a white SUV that belonged to her family and is believed to be her own.
She was alone and was found with an apparent gunshot wound. A handgun was also found inside the vehicle.
Next of kin have been notified and Shoshone County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident.
KOOTENAI COUNTY, Idaho – The Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) has sent out a missing person alert for Sarena Christine Harrison, 42, who was reported missing on June 28, 2025.
Investigators said Harrison was last seen on Ring Camera leaving her home in Hayden at approximately 2:08 p.m.
She drove off in a 2011 GMC Acadia, leaving behind her phone, smartwatch, IDs, and money.
Family members reported Harrison missing at 10:01 p.m. the same day.
She was last seen wearing a purple/pink t-shirt and black shorts.
