MERCER ISLAND, Wash. — A Mercer Island couple got a surprise when they opened their door expecting a delivery from DoorDash. Instead, they found a local police officer with their Chipotle order.
Officer Roggenkamp stopped a driver for a traffic violation and discovered the driver had an outstanding warrant. After informing the driver that he would be taken to jail, the driver mentioned he was in the middle of a food delivery.
Officer Roggenkamp stepped in to help, volunteering to complete the delivery. Minutes later, he was seen handing over the Chipotle order to the surprised couple.
