MEDICAL LAKE, Wash. – The Medical Lake High School community rallied behind student Owen Pitts as he accomplished two of his dreams while battling terminal cancer.
The school cheered Pitts on as he played in a varsity basketball game and graduated from high school.
“We’re just here to honor Owen and let him know we still love him and he’s still part of our family here,” special education teacher Nick Puzycki said.
