Mass casualty shooting under investigation in Seattle

SEATTLE, Wash. – Seattle police are investigating a mass casualty shooting that left multiple people dead early this morning.

Officers discovered the scene during a planned patrol around 1:30 a.m. along 2nd Avenue South near Denny Way.

According to Seattle police, two men and one woman, all in their 20s, were found dead at the scene. A fourth victim, an adult male, was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

The circumstances leading to the shooting remain unclear. Police have not determined if the incident began in a nearby residence or business. Details about the weapon used have not been released, and no suspect information is available at this time.
