SPOKANE, Wash. – The Maple Street on and off ramps with Interstate 90 will be under maintenance this upcoming Thursday night, meaning travelers using Maple Street bridge that night should plan additional time for delays, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT).
The Westbound I-90 Maple Street on-ramp will be closed at 8 p.m., Thursday, June 26, until 5 a.m., Friday, June 27 and the Eastbound I-90 Maple Street off-ramp will close at 10 p.m., Thursday, June 26, until 5 a.m., Friday, June 27.
The right lane of I-90 near the ramp closure will be restricted while crews enter and exit the work zone for repaving the roadway. Paving will start near the right lane with the ramps.
Travelers who need access to westbound I-90 will need to detour via the Monroe Street on-ramp, while travelers who normally use eastbound I-90 Maple Street off-ramp will detour to the Division Street off-ramp.
WSDOT’s announcement asked that drivers entering work zones to slow down and move over a lane when possible.
