Man stabbed at Clarkston Motel 6, suspect arrested in Wyoming

A man accused of stabbing a Motel 6 employee in Clarkston was taken into custody after police spotted him in Wyoming.

The 68-year-old is facing charges of attempted murder in the first degree for the incident that took place on June 2.

The Lewiston Police Department assisted in the search by using their new Flock cameras and automated license plate recognition system. This technology helped Clarkston Police gather images of the suspect’s car and license plate.

Clarkston Police determined that the suspect, identified as Krogman, had a personal connection to the victim, indicating the attack was not random.

The investigation is ongoing as authorities work to uncover the motive behind the attack and determine if anyone else was involved.

CLARKSTON, Wash. – A 72-year-old man was stabbed this morning at Motel 6 on Bridge Street in Clarkston. Police are seeking help from the public to identify the suspect involved in the incident.

The stabbing occurred around 11:15 a.m., and the victim is reported to be in stable condition.

The Clarkston Police Department has released photos of the suspect, who is described as approximately 6-foot-1 and weighing around 260 pounds.

According to police, the suspect left the scene driving a red, four-door sedan.
