SNOHOMISH, Wash. – A man was found dead in a submerged car in the early morning hours on Tuesday after reportedly driving past road closure signs onto a flooded roadway, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office.
SCSO said that the car left the road and went into a lower farmland ditch that contained around six feet of water.
The man was found inside the fully submerged car by Fire Rescue Swimmers with the sheriff’s office.
SCSO said the man is believed to be around 33 years old.
The incident is still under investigation.
