The Grant County Sheriff’s Office identified the man arrested as 47-year-old Kelly Joe Blackburn from Moses Lake who had an outstanding felony warrant for rape out of Pasco.
GSCO said they’d been looking for Blackburn for several weeks. After barricading himself inside a house, deputies found him hiding underneath a pile of clothes in an upstairs bedroom.
He was booked into the Grant County Jail pending being turned over to the Pasco Police Department, GSCO said.

The suspect was safely taken into custody and is being transported to the Grant County Jail, according to the Grant County Sheriff’s Office.
Further information about the incident is expected to be released on Tuesday.
