
MOSES LAKE, Wash. – Residents in the Moses Lake area should prepare for loud noises as the Grant County Sheriff’s Office has issued a warning about upcoming rocket detonations.
Stoke Space, a space vehicle manufacturer located northwest of Grant County International Airport, will be conducting controlled rocket detonations Wednesday from noon to 8:00 p.m.
The sheriff’s office noted that detonations might be heard and felt across the Moses Lake area, especially in the Larson Community, Cascade Valley and areas of Mae Valley and Westshore Drive.
For any questions or concerns regarding this activity, the sheriff’s office advises residents to contact Stoke Space directly, as they are overseeing the testing.
