SHOSHONE COUNTY, Idaho – Lookout Pass announced it would reopen on Sunday after recovering from historic windstorms.

The ski and recreation area said it was snowing, with five to seven inches measured on Saturday and three to five more expected on Sunday.

It said Sunday would have reduced price lift tickets priced at $63 for adults, $51 for youth, $55 for seniors and $59 for college or military members with ID.

The reservation system will only accept reservations starting December 26, but the resort invited people to buy tickets for December 21 at the mountain itself.

“Thanks to all our fans that were keeping our spirits high by doing snow dances, praying for snow and sending us encouraging messages and chill vibes. We truly value your zest for winter and your addiction for skiing and snowboarding,” the resort wrote in its announcement.
