AIRWAY HEIGHTS, Wash. – The Airway Heights Police Department Adventure League program has been busy ensuring local youth have a memorable summer.
The initiative pairs kids from the region with Airway Heights officers and guides from Peak 7 Adventures, and aims to provide outdoor experiences to under-resourced youth throughout the Pacific Northwest.
The Adventure League has offered activities like rock climbing in Idaho, rafting in Montana, and canoeing on the Little Spokane River.
Funding for these adventures has been made possible through grants, direct donations, and community sponsorships.
