SPOKANE, Wash. – Vytal Movement Dance, a local nonprofit dance company, will perform a one night only special performance at the Bing Crosby Theater on Friday, May 16.
Vytal has spent the past two years working with Eastern Washington University’s music department to have student composers create original songs, and dance company members developed choreography for those songs.
“We’ve worked with composers in the past, but this was different because they were working on projects inspired by DNA . All of the pieces are so different, and that’s something that really excites me. I love variety,” Melanie Rose Huff, one of the choreographers for the show, said.
“Translations: An Evening of Original Music & Dance” takes place at the Bing Crosby Theater on May 16 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets start at $27.
