SANDPOINT, Idaho – Schweitzer Mountain has two runs open on Sunday, December 14, while the other ski resorts around the area remain closed due to a lack of snow.
Only one of the runs open at Schweitzer on Sunday is groomed.
The opening day at Mt. Spokane Ski & Snowboard park has been due to warm and wet weather conditions.
According to Mt. Spokane officials, they’re waiting on freezing temperatures and snow ahead in the forecast before opening lifts for the season.
