LIBERTY LAKE, Wash. – Liberty Lake Police Department is asking for help from the public to locate 29-year-old Colton M. Hite.
On August 16, 2025, around 10:45 p.m., a Liberty Lake police officer attempted to stop a speeding vehicle, police said in a release.
Investigators said the driver, identified as Hite, evaded law enforcement and crashed near E Lakeside Road and S Mackenzie Lane.
Hite fled on foot with two female passengers after the crash. While one female was detained nearby, Hite remains at large, police said.
Police emphasize that Hite is “likely to run” if approached.
