LIBERTY LAKE, Wash. – Engines roared and spirits soared at the annual Special Olympics fundraiser in Liberty Lake.

Hosted by the Liberty Lake Police Department, the event featured classic cars, live local bands and a tribute to first responders and military members.

Vehicle owners donated at least $10 to participate in the show. All proceeds supported Special Olympics athletes.

Liberty Lake Police highlighted the event’s value for public interaction with law enforcement and car enthusiasts while supporting the Special Olympics. The event was directed and coordinated by the police ambassador, with the help of volunteers.

In a poignant moment of tribute, the name of deceased Sergeant Ken Salas was added to the Liberty Lake Police Department’s memorial car, honoring his service and sacrifice.
