There are currently level 3 evacuations in place surrounding the Crown Creek Fire, according to Steven’s County Emergency Management.
Level 3 evacuations are located east of Hwy 25 from Johnson Grade Road and south past Onion Creed Road on Hwy 25.
Blackhawk fire has spread to approximately 25 acres, and Crown Creek has grown to over 100 acres.
Helicopters are active on Crown Creek while smoke jumpers have been deployed on Blackhawk.
Crown Creek area is currently in level 2 evacuation due to the rapid growth of the fire.
STEVENS COUNTY, Wash. – Level 1 alerts have been sent out for the Crown Creek, Blackhawk and Johnson Creek Fires, according to Stevens County Emergency Management. This alert is just to promote awareness.
The three fires are in hard-to-reach areas, wrote management, but people will see smoke if they are in the Northport, Marble or Onion Creek area.
Blackhawk Mountain Fire and Crown Creek Fire are assessed to only be 9 and 8.5 acres. Both are 0% contained.
Aircrafts are assisting and people are asked not to fly drones in the area.
