EAST WENATCHEE, Wash. – Level 2 (Be Set) evacuation notices have been issued for a brush fire burning in East Wenatchee.
According to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, the fire is located in the area of 10th Street NE between Stark Avenue and Macaw Avenue. Deputies said Level 2 evacuation notices, meaning residents should be prepared to leave at a moment’s notice, have been issued for the north side of 10th Street NE between Urban Industrial Way and Macaw Avenue.
Authorities are asking residents to stay out of the area while fire crews work.
