Washington State University (WSU) and Gonzaga University are set to receive a combined total of $3 million for their cutting-edge material research programs.
WSU, known for producing semiconductor crystals, will receive $2 million to bolster these programs. This research is vital for the development of computer chips and other electronics.
Gonzaga University could receive a $1 million grant to enhance its materials research wing. The funding aims to strengthen Gonzaga’s role in Spokane’s aerospace tech hub consortium, providing significant benefits to its students.
