NORTH BEND, Wash. – Drivers on Interstate 90 should prepare for delays this summer due to ongoing bridge deck repairs between North Bend and Snoqualmie Pass.
The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) announced a new traffic configuration near Exit 45, where the far-right eastbound lane is diverted off I-90. This detour uses the off- and on-ramps to bypass the construction zone before rejoining the highway.
The left eastbound lane will remain open through the work zone, allowing travelers to choose either lane for their journey. This lane shift will be in effect 24/7 for the next couple of months.
