LAKE PEND OREILLE, Idaho – Idaho Fish and Game (IFG) has announced that there are no size or bag limits for walleye fishing at Lake Pend Oreille this summer. Anglers can enjoy catching an abundant year class of 14 to 17-inch walleye.
FG is managing Lake Pend Oreille for a low-density walleye population to avoid excessive predation on kokanee.
It’s a win-win, allowing anglers to leave with a cooler full of fish while also sustaining Lake Pend Oreille’s fishery.
