COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho – Kootenai County is celebrating a significant milestone with the graduation of the first participants from its Veterans Treatment Court.
The Veterans Treatment Court was established last year to assist veterans who encounter the criminal justice system. It recognizes the unique challenges veterans face and aims to provide support.
The program focuses on treatment, accountability and community support to help veterans restore stability in their lives and reintegrate successfully into society.
The graduation ceremony, open to the public, will take place at the Kootenai County Courthouse on October 14 at 3 p.m.
