KOOTENAI COUNTY, Idaho – Veterans in North Idaho have an opportunity to receive assistance this Saturday at the Kootenai County Fairgrounds. The Stand Down Event will offer a range of services including legal aid, veterinary care, bike repair, haircuts and dental services.
Veterans will also have the chance to connect with medical and counseling services through the VA. The event is scheduled from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will provide both breakfast and lunch.
To participate, veterans must present a military ID or document proving military service. This event aims to support local veterans by providing essential services and resources in one location.
