
AUBURN, Wash. – Kevin Coe, known as the South Hill Rapist, is living in Auburn according to his sex offender listing.
He is living in the 2900 block of 15th Street SE. His description says that he is 78 years old, six feet and two inches tall and 150 pounds with blue eyes and brown hair.
A picture of Coe is included in his listing and shows him with brown and grey facial hair and stringy hair growing reaching to the bottom of his ears.
Coe was released from the Special Commitment Center on McNeil Island on October 2, 2025, according to the Department of Social and Health Services. DSHS said he would be living at Win Win Adult Family Home in the Puget Sound Area.
Coe was convicted of rape in the first degree on February 12, 1985, but was accused of committing dozens of vicious sexual assaults in Spokane’s South Hill area from the late 1970’s to the early 1980’s.
A . Women who said they were raped by Coe attended the hearing with their loved ones to share victim impact statement and describe the ways their attacks had impacted their lives.
At the hearing, the judge said that Coe’s release was not in dispute and that, based on the law, she would have to sign off on Coe’s release.
