
SPOKANE, Wash. – Thirty-one men are on a remarkable cross-country cycling adventure, aiming to raise awareness and funds for people with disabilities. This event, known as the Journey of Hope, has already begun, with some cyclists making a stop in Spokane.
The journey spans more than 4,000 miles across the United States. Two teams started from Seattle and San Francisco and will meet in Washington, D.C.
During their journey, the cyclists make stops at partner organizations to spread disability awareness. Today, they visited the Arc of Spokane and the Ashley House.
The cyclists are expected to conclude their journey on August 9.
