SANDPOINT, Idaho – Jennifer Meyer, the woman accused of burning down an army surplus store in Sandpoint, has been sentenced to seven years in an Idaho state prison.
Meyer was previously found unfit to stand trial and was placed under a civil commitment order, but a judge terminated the order in February.
Surveillance footage showed Meyer near the scene before and after the fire on July 4, 2024.
The store had operated for more than 40 years before the fire.
