SPOKANE, Wash. – Jason Foster Frank, 54, was sentenced to 35 years in prison for multiple crimes, including attempted online enticement and possession of child pornography.

Frank pleaded guilty to the charges on March 25. He was convicted of a third crime, commission of a felony sex offense by an individual required to register as a sex offender, after a trial.

Judge Mary K. Dimke sentenced Frank to a life term of supervised release following his prison term. Frank was also ordered to pay $10,000 in restitution to one of his victims.

Court documents revealed that the case unfolded after Frank responded to an undercover advertisement in June 2023, which led to his arrest in Stevens County. He had engaged in communications with undercover officers, arranging to meet minors for sex.

Law enforcement found two phones in Frank’s vehicle. One phone was used for probation communications, while the other contained child pornography.

Frank has a history of convictions, including offenses in 2008 in Virginia. As a result, he was required to register as a sex offender.

United States Attorney Pete Serrano highlighted the significance of the sentencing.

“Today’s sentence of 35 years of a 54-year-old man demonstrates the seriousness of Mr. Frank’s actions. It also shows our office’s efforts to ensure that Mr. Frank will not have a chance to harm another child,” Serrano stated.

The case was handled as a part of Project Safe Childhood, an initiative launched by the Department of Justice to combat child sexual exploitation and abuse.
