SPOKANE, Wash. – Inland Imaging has announced the construction of a new facility in Spokane, set to revolutionize breast cancer screening, testing and diagnosis in Eastern Washington, the center said in a release.
The Breast Health Center, opening in September 2026, will offer comprehensive services under one roof, including mammography, ultrasound, breast MRI, biopsies, risk assessment and genetic testing.
“In one location, patients will receive the information and support they need to take charge of their health journey,” radiologist Dr. Paige Flett said. “By providing the best imaging possible, same-day biopsies, and a specialized care team, we are improving care delivery, patient experience, and health outcomes.”
The center will also feature cutting-edge technology including contrast-enhanced mammography and AI-assisted imaging analysis, ensuring more accurate results.
A patient navigator will be available to support patients and families in a calming environment with amenities such as a coffee bar and quiet consult rooms.
“The Breast Health Center will not feel like a clinical setting,” Chief Operating Officer Jennifer Heimbigner said. “In this reimagined facility, we are intentionally designing a wellness-focused space that will create a sense of calm, comfort, and community for our patients. It’s a place where self-care meets life-saving care.”
Located at 801 S. Stevens St. in downtown Spokane, the Breast Health Center will offer free off-street parking.
