MOSCOW, Idaho — The Idaho women’s basketball team close out the regular season with a 55-41 victory over Northern Colorado, earning the Big Sky Conference regular-season championship.
The Vandals set the tone early with steady half-court offense, building control over the course of the four quarters. The bears struggled to find rhythm against Idaho’s pressure, and were held well below their season scoring average.
Hope Hassmann paced Idaho with 12 points, the V’s rebounding and interior defense helped maintain a comfortable margin in the second half.
With the win, Idaho completed the regular season at 25-5 overall and 16-1 in conference play, securing the top seed in next week’s Big Sky Tournament.
