The start of the 100 deadliest days on highways has prompted safety advisories from the Idaho Office of Highway Safety. As of May 12, 74 traffic deaths have occurred in Idaho, a rise from 57 last year.

Montana reported 65 fatalities, while Washington State saw 731 traffic deaths.

The Idaho Office of Highway Safety emphasized the importance of wearing seatbelts, staying focused, avoiding distractions like cell phones, and never driving under the influence. These measures are crucial to reducing traffic emergencies over the next 100 days.
