Idaho State Police made some heartfelt visits to local athletes competing in the 2025 Special Olympics.
Corporal Michelle Beach surprised athletes in Sandpoint, Hayden and Post Falls with exciting news. They have been selected to represent Idaho in next year’s games in Minneapolis.
The visits were filled with smiles, happy tears and lots of hugs. Beach presented each athlete with gifts to celebrate their selection to represent their state.
The athletes and their families expressed gratitude for the recognition and look forward to the upcoming games.
