NEZ PERCE COUNTY, Idaho — Idaho State Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a suspect who fled from troopers Wednesday morning in Nez Perce County.
According to ISP, around 10:23 a.m., troopers attempted to stop a red Honda CM400 motorcycle traveling westbound on U.S. Highway 12. The rider turned north onto Hubbard Gulch Road before abandoning the motorcycle near the intersection of Hubbard Gulch and Stoney Point roads.
The suspect then fled on foot and was last seen running east into nearby farm fields.
Troopers were unable to locate the suspect and the investigation remains ongoing.
