LEWISTON, Idaho – Idaho State Police responded to a call about a possible abduction case taking place on the roads of Lewiston.
The caller reported a female tied up in the back of a vehicle. Idaho State Police reported that the caller assured them that the abducted female was not a mannequin.
An Idaho State Police sergeant spotted the car and stopped them in their tracks.
The abducted female was actually a just mannequin in the back of a truck.
Idaho State Police posted the incident and ensured readers that they always follow up on and take calls seriously.
“Just know: whether it’s the real deal or a mannequin on the move, we’re out here fighting crime on the 4th of July!” they wrote.
