Idaho State Police officials announced that the suspect vehicle involved in Friday’s deadly hit-and-run incident has been located.
Authorities expressed gratitude to the public for providing information following the crash that helped them locate the vehicle.
The investigation remains ongoing.

The suspect vehicle from the fatal crash on US 95 was identified as a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado LT with a Washington plate reading D71892H, according to the Idaho State Police.
The car is registered to a Spokane resident, but police have not verified that the registered owner as the driver.
Idaho State Police are still looking for information about the crash or the car’s location and asked anyone with information to help to call Idaho State Police Regional Communication Center at (208)-209-8730.
PLUMMER, Idaho – Idaho State Police is asking for public help following a fatal crash on Friday at around 5 p.m. on northbound US Highway 95 and D Street.
Witnesses reported a silver or tan pickup truck hitting a female in the roadway and not stopping. The truck was seen turning around and heading south on the highway.
Despite life-saving efforts, the woman died from her injuries. US Highway 95 was closed for several hours as the scene was investigated by ISP and Coeur d’Alene Tribal Police.
The investigation is ongoing, and the public is urged to call 911 with any information that could assist.
