IDAHO — The Idaho Sled Dog Challenge has announced it will no longer hold any races, marking the end of the Warm Lake Stage Race after four years.
Race founder Jerry Wortley said the decision was made by the board due to unreliable trails, low snow and avalanches.
The challenge has attracted mushers from across the United States and Canada.
Wortley expressed gratitude to the community, volunteers and sponsors for their support over the years.
