
BOISE, Idaho – The Idaho Consolidated Election is set for Tuesday, May 20.
Elections in 37 of Idaho’s 44 counties will be held for positions such as trustees and measures for auditorium, highway, hospital, library, and water and sewer districts, as well as school bonds and levies.
Voters can cast their ballots between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Election Day. A photo ID is required, but same-day registration is available with appropriate ID and proof of residence. Voters can find their polling locations online.
Absentee ballots must be received by 8:00 p.m. on Election Day. As of May 19, 56.5% of the issued absentee ballots have been returned. Early voting has seen 10,873 participants.
Election results will start rolling in after 9:00 p.m., initially covering absentee and early voting. Results will be updated as counties report.
