SPOKANE, Wash. – An ice cream eating competition at Brickwest is set to take place this evening at 6:00 p.m., offering a fun way for the community to support a meaningful cause.
The event features 10 teams, each with four members racing to finish their bowls of ice cream. The fastest team will win a year-long supply of ice cream. However, the bigger goal is to raise funds for the Wishing Star Foundation.
Jennifer, an organizer, shared the importance of the event, “All the money raised will go towards granting wishes for local children dealing with chronic illnesses or life-threatening diseases.”
The Wishing Star Foundation is encouraging public participation. Each dollar donated counts as a vote for your favorite team. Those unable to attend can still support by voting online at wishingstar.org.
This event offers a chance to enjoy ice cream while supporting children in need.
