
COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho – A hunter was rescued from the woods south of Coeur d’Alene on Saturday after experiencing a serious medical issue.
The Coeur d’Alene Fire Department (CDAFD), along with Kootenai County Fire and Rescue and the Mica Kidd Island Fire District, responded swiftly to the situation. According to CDAFD, with assistance from dispatchers, rescue crews navigated the challenging terrain to transport the hunter, carrying them a quarter mile to reach an ambulance.
